INTRODUCTION TO CULTURE
Our introduction to teaching First Nations’ culture content, is a fun-filled experiential learning opportunity for teachers.
THE EXPERIENCE
After many years teaching Aboriginal content in Victoria, informed by the feedback from teachers in service and Aboriginal elders, we have developed an effective, introductory framework PL empowering teachers to feel confident teaching culture, increasing competency and inspiration.

We provide a wide range of authentic Aboriginal artifacts, large pull up banners with images, live music, materials for a collaborative mural and resources for classroom use. We require access to a white board and ICT, if possible.
After this introduction further in-depth PDs will be available based on more specific topics: Art, Music, Culture, PE and the Kulin Nation Calendar.
Fee: $250 + GST per person, minimum 10 teachers (at your school, up to 3 hours)
Optional: Purchase of First Nations Culture Kit for School use.
